The summer has made its departure and now we can enjoy cooler days, thick sweaters, and dark lipsticks. I have packed away all of my bright shades and made way for the more dark and sultry hues. As I was going through my collection I ran across three staple products that are my absolute favs. Check them out below!
Farsali Unicorn Essence:
At first I was hesitant to put this product on my face. While it smells amazing, it looks like purple unicorn snot. It did not take long for me to get past the appearance. This stuff is amazing! I put a small amount on before applying my makeup primer. This water-based serum gives my skin just the right amount of moisture and luminescence without making it look or feel greasy. It also helps my makeup to last all day. It comes with a hefty price tag of $54, but I can assure you that it will last for many months to come. The Farsali Unicorn Essence serum can be found at Sephora stores or online.
Fenty Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in “Sinamon"
Having a popping highlight is always important, no matter what season it is. For the fall months I tend to gravitate towards a more bronze-y glow instead of the in-your-face golden hue. I feel like Rihanna made this particular shade just for me. The “Sinamon” shimmer stick gives me the exact amount of highlight that I desire. It can be used sparingly for a subtle glow, or you can pack it on for a more intense look. This product comes with a reasonable price tag of $25 and a little goes a long way. Check it out at Sephora.Com or in store.
Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in “True Grit”
I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for a good brown lippie. I like it to be perfectly matte and long lasting. Smashbox has a true hit with their liquid lipstick line and the shade “True Grit” is perfect for me. I can apply this shade one time and not have to worry about it for hours. I’m able to both eat and drink without it budging. This lipstick is perfect for an on-the-go mom like me who doesn’t have time to reapply lipstick over and over again. This particular lippie is $24, which is pretty average in my opinion. You can find it in most major beauty stores and on Smashbox.Com.
I definitely plan to keep these products close throughout this fall season. What products are you swooning over these days? Let me know in the comments!
