My Favorite [Au Natural] Appetite Suppressant

Raise your hand if you’re tired of buying bullshit weight loss products that don’t work! *raises both hands.*

 

Losing weight as always been a struggle for me. I enjoy being active and working out, but I also enjoy eating whatever, whenever. When embarking on my health journey I knew I had to first change my eating habits by reducing my intake and making healthier choices. This transition left me feeling hungry almost all of the time. I absolutely hated it! I needed something that would naturally suppress my appetite and help me feel fuller throughout the day.

 

I scoured the interweb but all I could find were prescription medicines to suppress appetites. I ended up sharing my struggle with a dear friend of mine and she suggested I try a concoction of apple cider vinegar, honey, chia seeds, and lemon. At first I thought she was crazy, but I figured it would be worth a try. 

 

I tried the elixir one morning before having my breakfast. I found myself feeling full before I got through my entire meal. The same happened at lunch and dinner! It was then that I knew that this elixir was magical. I researched the ingredients and found the following:

 

  • Apple Cider Vinegar is a major supporter of weight loss. It also helps regulate blood pressure and reduce acid reflux (which I had a terrible case of).

  • Chia Seeds are high in calcium, Omega-3s and antioxidants. They help to suppress one’s appetite because they expand and slow down digestion.

  • Lemon consumption helps to promote clearer skin and it wards off diabetes.  

  • Honey is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It also aids in blood sugar regulation. 

 

As you can see, this recipe packs tons of benefits that can help you on your weight loss journey! It does not taste the greatest (just keeping it real with ya) but.. the benefits definitely outweigh that one drawback. Wanna try it out? Check out the recipe below!

1 Tbs Chia Seeds

1 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar

3/4 Cup Room Temperature Water

Juice of 1/2 Lemon

1 Tsp Honey

1. Combine all ingredients
